Both the Unico and Spacepak companies have come up with an absolutely brilliant air conditioning system. It installs with little to no remodeling, offers far superior dehumidification than traditional central air conditioning, and provides the best air cooling available of any air conditioning technology.
FITS IN ANY SPACE:
Instead of using large air ducts to transport air into living spaces, these systems use much smaller ducts. The Unico system ductwork uses less than one-fourth the space than a traditional system. It can deliver up to 12 tons of air conditioning in the same space as a 3-ton traditional unit.
LITTLE TO NO REMODELING:
The Unico system fits where other conventional cooling and heating systems can’t – with little or no remodeling required. The modular air handlers and coils can be easily installed into attics, ceilings, crawlspaces, and closets.
REMOVES 30% MORE RELATIVE HUMIDITY:
This design provides greater humidity removal with the superior and efficient design of our cooling coils, creating a perfectly comfortable environment.
The Unico system outperforms conventional heating and cooling systems by utilizing a patented high velocity stream of air. This air is delivered quietly and seamlessly into the room using our 2″ outlets or the 8″ x ¾” slotted diffuser.
DRAFT-FREE, EVEN TEMPERATURES:
When a conventional system operates, it dumps air into the room, creating up to a six degree difference in temperature across the conditioned space. Often it’s only comfortable near the outlets. With Unico heating and cooling systems, the higher velocity air entering into the living space creates an effect called ‘aspiration.’ As the cool air enters the room, the warm air at the far reaches is pulled into the cool air stream, resulting in evenly mixed, consistent temperature throughout the living space.
MATCH ANY DECOR:
The Unico / System offers you a huge selection in outlet choices. Outlets come round or slotted, and are designed to fit any decor or home architecture without compromise. They can be installed in ceilings, floors or sidewalls. In fact, with their less invasive size and complementary colors and woods, you will hardly notice they are in the room.
