What Is Done to the Furnace?

Standard Furnace Refresh ($1,027 non-member/$873 Comfort Club)  

• Set gas pressure  
• Test operation and safety  
• Clean and vacuum out cabinet  
• Perform a heat exchanger review
• Replace batteries in the thermostat
• Visual inspection of all components
• Remove and clean burners and test temperature rise  
• Blow out drain line (clean condensate pump as needed)  
• We replace the pressure switch(es), ignitor, and flame sensor  
• Test system static pressure (i.e., blood pressure of the system)  

Standard Furnace Refresh Plus ($1,251 non-member/$1,063 Comfort Club)

We do all the above, plus:

• Remove and clean blower motor and wheel  
• Clean and visually inspect secondary heat exchanger (on 90% furnaces)
• Perform a complete visual inspection of heat exchange via open blower compartment (on 80% furnaces)
